Data at Your Fingertips: MDT Guide 💻
The Mobile Data Terminal is where paperwork actually gets processed. Open it with /mdt (also reachable from the Police Menu radial).
🔍 Suspect Profiles
Search a citizen and open their profile to see prior charges, warrants, and mugshots on file. From a profile you can:
📝 Incident Reports
Build a full report: type, location, reporting officer, narrative (with quick-fill templates per incident type), suspects/victims/witnesses, vehicles, and charges. Tick "Automatically jail suspects with a sentence" to send anyone with a charge straight to jail the moment you save the report (again, they need to be online). Reports autosave a local draft as you type, so an accidental refresh won't lose your work.
🔒 Sending Someone to Jail Directly
Outside of MDT, jail time is handled in-command: /jail [id] [minutes] [reason] and /unjail [id]. /jailcp opens the prison management dashboard. See the Command Reference for the full jail command list (solitary, community service, etc). All of these require you to be on duty as SAPD, SAHP, or BCSO.
📚 Reference Tabs
The MDT also ships built-in reference material — the penal code, radio codes, and a catalogue of evidence item types — so you don't need to alt-tab to a wiki mid-arrest.
